In recent years Music Industry Studies (MIS) has seen expansive growth within institutions and professional training programs. MIS focuses on training technical skills toward preparing students for a 21st century career in music. Join ethnomusicologist Jason Mullen, Adjunct Instructor of Music, as he walks through current trends in MIS and moves toward a critical reading of the field.The Bergren Forum takes place every Thursday lunchtime during the semester from 12:10 pm to 1:00 pm in Nevins Theater.
